Just shot a cartridge of the new Kodachrome 64T which I got from Derann as I needed film in a hurry. I ordered before noon and it was on my doorstep at 9am the next morning!
Question is: where best to get it developed?

Mark, There was a list of labs in Small Format if you have the two copies. Cant remember if it was in the first or the last copy.

Issue 1/2006, page 9, has reviews of some E6 labs tested around the world... Cine Dia in France, Super 8 Reversal Lab in the Netherlands, Dwayne's Photo in USA and Kahl Film and Andec Filmtechnik in Germany. Is that the one? Mind you there are no UK labs mentioned anywhere. Maybe there were some in the first issue (1/2005).

(Now why did they label the first issue 1/2005 and the second issue 1/2006?)

Thanks guys, the Widescreen Centre had been suggested also . I've Emailed the Super 8 Reversal Lab Nederland so i'll give them a go.

Now there is a very good laboratory(it's a professional laboratory for the 35mm) in Italy. the quality processing is very hight.

I have just had a 64T processed by Dwayne's Photo, USA. Excellent turnaround time of just over one week, and this includes the time taken for my film to get to them. Costs about £9 when you convert the currency. The standard of processing was excellent...no scratches or anything like that. Contact them via www.k14movies.com to download their order form. They will also process K40 should anyone have any left after Kodak cease processing.

Well, postage to Dwayne's is about £1 (this was for one film) and time in transit was about 3-4 days. Let me set out the costs more clearly for Dwayne's Processing. The actual processing costs £4.86, according to the conversion website I used. Postage, for Dwaynes to post back to you is around £3 for the first film, then around 30p for each additional film. These prices are taken directly from the Dwaynes order form. My single film, including postage back to the UK, was charged at $18.50 which converts to roughly £9.99. So, they must charge slightly more (maybe £2) for postage back to the UK. But, with the quick turnaround and excellent processing, I have no complaints whatsoever.

And of course the whole thing becomes more economic when you send in multiple rolls for processing. Though I may find it difficult to actually shoot multiple cartridges and not send each one in as soon as it's fully exposed. [Cool]
