Looks like he's new to eBay but jeez! I like how belligerent he gets in the description: "VERY Rare so I know what I have . so I will only sell for the right price."

...currently relisted for $0.99, no bidders!

That listing fee has got to hurt!

Poor guy probably thought his ship had come in.

-figured he'd be driving a new BMW this time next month!

(Hope he didn't borrow too much money waiting for the funds to come washing over him.)

I can just imagine this guy...he finds this box with a quaint reel of film in it...thinks "wow, this has gotta be worth something"....a friend tells him he knows a fella who knows something about film....the seller phones this film collector, asks him what it's worth...the collector tells him "ah, you'll probably get two fifty ($2.50) or two seventy-five ($2.75) or so...!!! I seem to recall a thread like this a couple of years ago about somebody listing a Walton Laurel and Hardy for the dollar equivalent of a pretty respectable new car, but that had nothing on this.

I ran into a discussion thread on a non film forum about the potential value of a "vintage" Super-8 Steamboat Willie. I let them know that since you could still buy one new it wasn't "vintage", but "used".
