At the Wildwood Film Show (Now officially named CineSea), Shorty and I were trying to figure out the different catalogs from Castle's last decade.

 -
1970

 -
1971

 -
1973

 -
1976

Were there any others?

Yeah, since 1947...but seriously, 1972, 1974 & 1975 - If you have copies of those years, I like to buy or trade - My earliest is 1952, hardly a pamphlet with a few offerings - Thing is, my question(s) are when certain box-art began and ended, also when the generic travel, A&C and other covers came into vogue - Thanks Doug - Buy you a cup 'o coffee at the cove for that one

Shorty,
Doesn't Scott MacGillivrays book have those answers?

But not many pictures. I've never owned a catalog from late '71-'72, and '74 through '75, for one reason or other - Would like to find a couple more - Cheers, Shorty

Funny,I got exactly those same catalogs depicted here. Is it possible that no others were printed in the intermediate years? The next one I have is the March '79 Universal 8. I also have the ones from '65-'66,'66-'67,'67-'68 and '68-'69. But "la creme de la creme" is a copy of the 1946 one, (A friend did purchase the original from e-bay).It is in b&w and has longer descriptions and photos (not box art) for every film listed. In addition to rare photos or original production ads for all Terrytoons listed,it also has original studio stills from every Soundie listed. This is the only time I have seen these, anywhere. MacGillivray uses only DVD uploads, in the second edition of his book.

BUT, those ones from '71-72, '74-75, I have YET to see - Shorty

Panayotis,

What are the other differences between the first and second editions of Castle Films: A Hobbyist's Guide ?

I have also the last two, you have posted the covers.
The Last one is definitely the last castle cataloge.
I´m not sure but it can be that I have also another one from the 70´s. Unfortunately I lend all my cataloges a friend of mine (Robert Weidemann, he put scans from the last one on his website: http://www.super-8-hobby.de/k-castle_76.htm.
If I get them back I can say if the other one was from the 70´s or late 60`s.

Douglas, I am sorry I wasn't clear. I meant the two editions of the SOUNDIES book.
