My ELMO ST 1200 HD has the following problem: when I put in reverse mode, to rewind a film, if I press the yellow rewind lever, instead of speeding up the rewinding function it completely stops it...

Any suggestion?

Thanks
F.

Open up the back. You will see the gears that switch in for the rewind. Sometimes the gears can slip on the shaft and not engage correctly.

hi David, you are right...
The upper gear that comes down when lowering the lever doesn't get in touch with small gear between the two large gears at its sides. But why?
It seems the lever cannot go down more in order to get the fast rewinding mechanism to start working correctly.
Should I regulate the lever in some way?

Inserted by mistake ...
