Thanks Joe, I have one film I want to re box so it would be interesting to see even a basic box.

They didn't have any specific box atr. They used plain white boxes with their logo pasted on them.
On a short notice,I couldn't find anything better. If you can clean the photos perhaps you can use them -

Steel Valley didn't do much, but what they did put out was top-notch and very desirable. One of the most under-appreciated U.S. super 8 companies I can remember.

A couple of things I have from them are some intermission drive-in ads, a Spanky (Little Rascals) Speedo-bike commercial, and some neat trailers. I think they were around from around 1980 to 1990.

I'll check and see if I have any box art for them Lee.

James.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would list three titles in my collection that were released by Steel Valley Films. I would love to hear what other trailers and films Steel Valley released.

1. Revenge of the Jedi trailer in scope that is sharp with perfect colors on Kodak LPP 1983.

2. The Robe Intro trailer on Kodak LPP 1984

3. Black and white cinema ads concerning CinemaScope on Kodak LPP 1987

Hi Jason - I picked up this Steel Valley John Wayne trailer reel last year - think it was about GBP3. They are on LPP on a 100ft spool and the colour is beautiful.

Recently received a 1930s “Organ-Logue” 200’ sing-along short (Melodies of Love) with Steel Valley Films written on the leader. Seems I have 2 other shorts issued by this company, albeit in Derann Movieola boxes:

Once Upon A Time - 1930s road safety cartoon (pre-print has severe water damage/nitrate decomp in the first few minutes), has an animated Steel Valley logo after the countdown

Academy Sound Tests - c. 1940/41 random excerpts from then-current films assembled by the MPA for sound testing
