I am curious what type of film supplies/accessories he is selling?

Hi Matt, Well since you gentleman are talking about me ... I thought I better step in on this one. I've been a film collector like yourselves for 40 years, have also worked in the film industry here in Hollywood and since that time have seen film equipment and supplies get increasingly harder and harder to find. So finally I got fed up with it all and started my own company that specializes in supplying everything filmmakers, film collectors (like yourselves) and photographers what they need. Right now, I am in the infancy stage of my business but fully operational. Anyone searching for film supplies, fully restored projectors, projector repair for some models ... and yes, even some film prints from Blackhawk can write me at thefilmforevercompany@gmail.com with their requests. If I don't carry it in stock, I have a small team of dedicated people that will scour every resource to find it for you. To summarize, here is another resource for all of you to access in an ever increasing dwindling market. I understand your needs and will do my best to accomodate you. No customer is too small!

A website will be up in the next few coming months till then...
I'd appreciate anything you can do to help spread the word to help get this worthwhile enterprise going.

Thanks so much!

Don't mean to be too negative here, but about 1000 dollars for an Elmo ST-180 and ST-1200D? I got mine for about 100 GBP I think it was

But you sold the 180, so someone thinks it fair price. Good luck anyways, hope you stay in it for a long time

Vidar, Thank you for your observation. Needless to say, I don't want to tackle arguing with a Jedi Master Film Handler. [Smile]

Projectors are a whole different story, as well you know. I have to find those machines first in great condition with all the manuals and accessories ... then re-build them so they are not only cosmetically factory-new but also function factory-new! Then I offer a warranty on the machine. Every projector that leaves here is in 100% working condition with all the original manuals and accessories and often with the original box. I'm sure every collector here has bought a machine on EBAY and rarely does it arrive working 100%. That's the difference. Every machine that leaves here is guaranteed 100% or your money back. So to reply to your statement, no... there is no one I know of remaining in this business that can compete with offering a completely restored machine backed by a warranty and a money-back guarantee against a used machine priced lower with no guarantees of working on Craigs list or EBAY. You get what you pay for along with all the disappointments and headaches that go with it. My lowest price offer is only for film supplies, which is really the core of my business ... not the rebuilt film cameras and projectors...I offer from time-to-time.

BTW, both the machines I have offered have now been sold ... but I am expecting more in the future in both Super 8mm Sound and 16mm.

I send out my e-mail catalog once a month. If you would like to be put on my list and are not already receiving my catalog please send me your request at thefilmforevercompany@gmail.com .

And thanks again Vidar for making that observation! I welcome all comments ... so don't be shy ... BRING IT ON!
