One of my fun collecting activities involves finding the films that made the famous AFI 100 years list. There are some however that I'm pretty sure are unavailable.

Check out the list below. Titles I have in digest form are marked with an (*) while (!) means I know it exists- I just don't have it yet.

Trailer only is (#) and (?) means does this exist in any form on Super 8mm?

Any input would be welcome

The Godfather (*)
Gone With the Wind (?)
Lawrence of Arabia (*)
The Wizard of Oz (*)

Falcon" in 2x400,"Bonnie & Clyde" hire only from Columbia Warner
but on 3x400 German release,"Dr Strangelove" from the USA,

'Shane' was released on super 8 as a full length feature by Derann.
Print is exceptionally good.

American in Paris was released as an almost full length feature by Derann, just a very slight abridgment.

Titanic was released as a full length feature by Derann.

Not really a fan of top 100 your favourite never seems to be there.

Regent Films were a Blackpool based company. I don't think they released any of their own, dealt with mainly imports.

REGENT FILMS-Blackpool were at one time an agent for Blackhawk amongst others and I bought many Blackhawk prints from them in the early 70's.
I still have a std 8mm "Great train robbery" with the colour scenes.

There was a company releasing films as "Regent" don't know if it was the same people.
