I have a Elmo 912 editor and have just bought the film cleaner accessory.Do i soak the pads with filmguard before use?

I have a similar Bauer device that attaches to their editor Peter.
It has felt rollers that can be replaced and yes, according to the instructions I got with it, that is exactly how you use them.
The one i have has two felt rollers and the web path threads such that both sides if the film are coated.

I don't believe you will have to absolutely saturate the felt pads for the Filmguard to do it's excellent work here.
It really does work exceptionally well even when used very sparingly.
