Greetings fellow film enthusiasts!

Does anyone have any information on this particular splicer? There is one for sale in the Phoenix area where I live. I never ever heard of this splicer and was wondering if anyone has used one before and how you liked it?
Thanks,
RS [Confused]

I wouldn't say it makes the best splice but it does pretty good. The only reason I have held onto the one I have is because it's interesting how it works mechanically. It was kind of hard to figure out at first since I didn't have the instructions but once I figured it out I thought it was pretty cool. Everything is done on a curve so that the splice has a slight curve to it to match the curl of the film. I wouldn't spend a lot on it, I've seen them on eBay for $5 to $10.

Thanks Bryan for the information. Yeah I thought the splicer is a bit weird looking and was really curious how it exactly worked. I could not find any U-Tube videos on it.

It doesn't cut straight across the frame line? If so I find that very weird! I've never understood how the splicers that momentarily show you different parts of two different frames could become popular!

I already purchased the splicer and picking it up in the morning because I wanted to see just how weird this splicer is! [Eek!]

Got the splicer today and happy to report that I like it! It's quite the unique splicer and works great!
