The Ken Films catalog of 1974-75 doesn't give much help...only this description: "UA-207 Master of Horror. The spine-chilling tales of the weird and demented, by Edgar Allen Poe, the master of mystery and imagination. Only for those who can stand horror beyond belief!"

"Master of Horror" is the US edit of the 1965 Argentinian film "Obras Maestras Del Terror". The film tells three Edgar Allan Poe tales, "The Facts in M. Valdemar's Case", "The Cask of Amontillado" and "The Tell-Tale Heart". The US release of the feature cut out the last story. The Ken digest uses the Valdemar segment.

Thank you, Doug. Is it any good or is the box art more satisfying than what's inside?

Was this the film that the Ken Films catalog stated "For strong hearts only"; or was it The Human Monster?

This is almost a remake of AIP Roger Corman's
Tales Of Terror.

Brad,

It's an acceptable cutdown, however you are correct....the artwork is better!

John,

Yup, that was The Human Monster. They also said that one was "very blood-thirsty"!
