What is a "black screen" ? I assume you don't mean a projection screen that would be black instead of white 😁

Brad are you referring to the ALR ( Ambient Light Rejecting )screens which appear black in color. Looking close their actually a deep silver. They are very directional and work best in a bright room where the ambient light would normally wash out image. An ALR screen in a bright room maintains a larger degree of black and contrast. They work great with video projectors but not sure the limited wattage of our film projectors would be bright enough.

I was wondering if anyone ever used a black projection screen. I see them online and the pitch is that you don't need to dowse the lighting in the room because of the color not reflecting the ambient lighting in the room.
