I ran my prints of the MGM 3 x 400 feet edition of WHERE EAGLES DARE a couple of nights ago.

I have to report that this one has now sadly faded to a rust red colour after all these years.

Is anyone out there lucky enough to have in their collection an unfaded copy ?

You are one of the lucky ones Mark.
Despite having stored my collection in ideal conditions i am
now finding that the majority of my MGM titles are now faded.

Just my luck to have bought stock that has faded.

Hahahahaha !!!

My copy of Where Eagles Dare is still without fade. Some MGM prints like Westworld and Guns for San Sebastián had a degree of fade even bought from new. Maybe its the alpine air and snow⛄️⛄️⛄️⛄️

My copy is on Kodak SP stock and the colour is quite acceptable, the sky is still blue. [Smile]
