This GS1200 had quite a lot of work done on it due to severe wear in the film path. All guide parts associated with wear were sorted out but the biggest problem was the head area.
A Ugo type mod was carried out under the small rubber roller as the guide was flat at that point. Araldite putty was used to rebuild the guide at that point. The sound head pressure block was replaced as well as the heads themselves.

I believe that Andy has since replaced the Lamp Holder.
When the machine left me Ireland bound, it was running smoothly and scratch free but really its now down to Andy to give an honest opinion of the current state as its now some 8 months down the line.

Kev.
