Hi All,
Just thought i'd chime in and let everyone know what i currently am collecting. Hal Roach comedies (Laurel and Hardy, Little Rascals) are my main thing with the following requirements:
1. Super 8 Sound
2. Blackhawk films preferred
3. Very Good to Excellent(Mint) Condition
4. Must have full credits (Start and ending)
5. No Splices
ALthough my collection is not currently perfect, I am slowly replacing any that don't meet the above requirements with ones that do. I am in Canada, so if you have more than one film, that i may be interested in, i would prefer to buy in bulk to save on shipping. I like to buy 2-5 reels at a time!
I am also looking at three stooges Sound prints. am requirements as above except that they are columbia picture prints.
Thanx,
Matt
Ps: I will update this thread with a list of what i already have when i get opportunity.

Sounds like my beginnings, but please don't forget to strive for original, darn-near mint boxes - Shorty

Hey Shorty,
That is a good point!! I forgot about the boxes. Funny thing about blackhawk boxes is that they have the nice once ones that come apart top to bottom...but then there are also the 'sleeve' kind which i don't really like, mint or not [Smile]
So i should add:
6. Very Good boxes, preferably not the sleeve kind!
Cheers,
Matt

Hi Vincent,

If it is still available, I would be interested in "For Pete's Sake."

Thank you.

Currently, the problem for me i tha Canadian Dollar is so weak against the US that a 20$ movie is 50-55 shipped... so i must wait awhile on US purchases.

Just as a little plug for Vincent, I've bought 5 or 6 things from Vincent so far and all have been excellent! If anyone is in the US, I would definitely buy from him, and I will again at some point.
Cheers,
Matt
