I just listed it on ebay ...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/323624619344?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l 2649

Please note: As I state in the auction, the screenshots I took are not entirely accurate. What I mean is that I think there is an automatic "white" function on this old digital camera that I have, and I think that it makes the color on the print look very, VERY slightly better. I don't know if it actually does have a white function or an automatic function on it to do so. it's about 15 years old, (camera) that's all I know.

It's pretty close to the actual color of the print. The print doesn't have perfect blacks, but I am fairly sure that all prints of this are pretty much the same, but this is a pretty good copy of the film, better than most.

By the way, I remember, many years ago, actually having a print of this feature on 35MM, L.P.P., and I was struck by just how much of a bluish colorization was added to the DVD (and bluray) release of this, compared to the original release of the film, which had very real white to brownish snow and being that the film takes place in the winter, there is a lot of browns to the image.

It says in your description that the white function is on but now on here your not sure if it's on so what is it? Very important if you want to bid, someone might accuse you of doctoring the images which is a pretty serious accusation and we don't want that,Mark

Mark ...

The actual statement from the auction, cut and pasted here, (and not changed from it's original listing of this), states ...

" PLEASE NOTE: As I am an honest film seller, I took pictures of the print being projected and I honestly do not know if I had the "white" function of the digital camera actually working. I can say that the photo's on this auction are just very, VERY slightly better than the print itself, but the screenshots are pretty accurate. "

Please state what is in the auction accurately. [Smile]

I stated all of that as, I really don't know if this old camera has a white balance to it in the first place, but since the screenshots look slightly different than the projected film, this is why I state that in the auction. I personlly think I'm one the worst screenshot takers in the world. Either that, or I just don't have the money to get the kind of digital camra that can take completely accurate shots.

As I said it's important to make things crystal clear as you don't want to be accused of doctoring pictures,if you go back to the Fox and Hound thread for reference and read what comments are there you will see it's not taken lightly, obviously you being an honest seller have nothing to worry about but it would be nice to hear your comments there perhaps or take the other option to completely ignore it?
