I have for sale a Super 8 feature of the 1956 Musical /Comedy "HIGH SOCIETY" Starring Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, Louis Armstrong,....C.K. Dexter-Haven, a successful popular jazz musician, lives in a mansion near his ex-wife's Tracy Lord's family estate. She is on the verge of marrying a man blander and safer than Dex, who tries to win Tracy's heart again. Mike Connor, an undercover tabloid reporter, also falls for Tracy while covering the nuptials for Spy magazine. Tracy must choose between the three men as she discovers that "safe" can mean "deadly dull" when it comes to husbands and life.

Burton, if this is the Derann print you will be getting an excellent quality print ( see my review on this forum). I highly recommend a stereo re-record of this movie as the musical numbers are so much better in stereo.
Actually High Society was not recorded in true stereo sound but used Paramount's 'Perspecta Sound' technique which encoded sub sonic bass tones on the film track to channel the sound to the different speakers. Quite effective.

Hi Paul,
I appreciate the information. I will let you know if I am the lucky one to acquire this print. I have been quite pleased with the re-recording results I have been able to achieve with the Renzo box and the GS -1200 ( with the capacitor replacement ). The key as you mention is a quality stripe, but so far mine have turned out superb! That is only 2 features so far mind you.
