Hey folks,

I have a Retro Universal I purchased last fall that I'm going to be getting rid of. I transferred all of my family's old 8mm films to digital and it worked flawlessly. I'm not interested in making a business out of it or anything though, so I suppose I'll be selling it. Maybe 4 hours of use on the machine, tops. I really don't want to ship it, so I can meet anywhere within about a 3 hour radius of Lexington, KY. This unit has the 8mm gate. It's practically brand new.

I don't visit this site much anymore, so if you could, please email me jsvice@aol.com.

Figured I would bump this post since it's been a while. Like I said in the ad, I didn't really want to ship it, but it can be arranged.

Since the first poster and the last one are two different people, is Gregory asking the question or informing us that the unit was sold?

Sharp eyes Winbert!

I sent John a PM earlier asking him to confirm the sale, since the seller is the one who needs to post that the item is sold. I'm sure this will happen soon and congratulations to Gregory on his new Retro....isn't that an oxymoron?

Doug

I wouldn't think it is an oxymoron a new retro-rocket wouldn't be or a new retrospective. Still meaning of words do change over time due to use :-)

Yep, I bought it off John last month. He said he didn't jump on the forum very often so I thought that I'd at least pass the word along in case anybody else was still thinking about it.
I also checked with moviestuff.tv and word is that they are releasing an upgraded software and higher resolution camera.
New toys! Whoo hoo!
Gregory
