I prefer plastic.

And yes, I have been emailing with Reel Image and I was able to get 3 reels but I will need more for sure. I recently purchased an ELMO ST-800 and looking to put my two reel movies onto one.

Hi David,
One other suggestion is to perhaps look for 800' reels with a cheaper(not so popular or wanted) film on it...in order to get the reel...

What i mean is, for example, one member here(vince), sometimes sells films that perhaps are not the best film, but he is really selling the reel. This is a good way to get a reel for same price, with the bonus of a film you may or not want [Smile]

Yes getting a really badly faded print at a very good price might be the answer.
