If you have a Bell & Howell Filmosound 16mm Editor/Viewer eventually you will have to replace the bulb.

The original bulb is a 115-125V / 30W with an E12 (Candelabra) base. This bulb is difficult to find and expensive. Here is an alternative solution using a 120V / 50W Halogen bulb ($7 USD). The halogen bulb I found has a E11 (mini-candelabra) base...so I bought an adapter off Ebay. The lamp works well and the picture brightness is very good.
