My new investment ( 7.5 watt transistor / optical sound ) looks good, although it runs at bit to slow ( aprox. 22 fps ).
My main concern is scrathing sound with or without film engaged.
Shortly after I have pressed the start button for amplifier and optical sound.
No scrathing at volume 0 but scratcing sound increases up til 10 at the volume scale.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hello,
replace all electrolytic caps, about 30 pieces.
Some are hidden underneath sliding switches, has to be removed first. We do it in that way, as all componets more than 50 years old.
After replacement you will enjoy good sound for many years.
