Could somebody please point me in a direction where I can find 16mm storage boxes, the ones that look large pizza boxes?
Preferably a seller in the U.K. just to avoid overseas shipping but it’s not a must.

I have some reels out in the open and a couple in metal cans which to be honest I don’t like.

Thank you

I make my own boxes; the problem is getting good quality cardboard. I think you can find Pizza boxes supplied in the UK if you Google. They are good for holding 2x16mm spools.

Can
Items which appear to be no longer made.
However, here's a company which make sizes to order.
For instance, a box 14" x 14" x 3" with a top opening which will hold three 1600ft 16mm spools is £1.83 plus postage.

Classic Home Cinema sells these.

Simon I think they sell 8mm boxes, not 16mm ones.

Sure I saw 16mm boxes listed as a new product?

Ah, great ! I looked in the Film Equipment section. Glad they add it.

I note that Phil uses the expression "card" and not cardboard. So I wonder if these 16mm boxes are made of the thin white card often used for Super 8 films.
If so, they are, in my opinion not suitable for the heavier 400ft 16mm spools, particularly those made by Cecol in steel.

Thank you all for the info.
I think the link you sent Maurice is ideal. The fact you can customise the box is great.

I did try a pizza box once Robert, just wasn’t strong enough.

I came across these but they’re for films on cores not reels.

Thanks again everybody:)
