how is this done when i upload a picture it says your link has failed check your login name or password the picture is only 14KB can anybody help, thaks

Jim, if you follow carefully the "how to" page, you should manage to do it. But this will only show a picture of you in the message itself, not on the left hand-side where our names and informations appear.

if you want to upload a picture of yourself to be posted next to your details on the left, you just need to email the picture to Brad and he will do it for you.

I think more of you guys should do that, it's good to put faces to names, and I'm sure there must be someone on the forum who looks more sinister than me! [Wink]

If you are sending in a member pic, email it directly to me with your login name AND "8mm forum" in the email so I know which forum to find you on.

If you want to upload a picture for display on these forum pages, look to the left in the light blue frame and click the "UPLOAD" button. Instructions are there.

BTW, someone already pointed this out, but on the "POST NEW TOPIC" and "POST REPLY" pages there is a link that says "click here to upload an image". That link does NOT work properly. Sorry, at some point we'll try and fix that glitch.
