Gary, Duncan, Adrian, and anyone on the forum who knows a bit about email... I don't know what the #*!? is going on but I just can't seem to get through to you via email anymore, even if I put DFS and nothing else in the subject field.

Attached is a transcript from yet another returned email I got after sending a message to Adrian today (who, for some reason, was listed as the reply-to address in Gary's emails).

Can you figure this out?? I hope so, because I can't!!! [Frown] [Frown] [Frown] [Frown] [Frown]

Dear Jan,

I have just had a reply from our technician. He has informed us that you are using Roadrunner to send mails, which has been blacklisted by our hosts due to excessive spam volumes.

He has informed us that if you refigure your SMTP to sent mail via your ISP this will solve the problem. As I am no technician myself I am just relaying the information so if you get stuck maybe somebody on the site will be able too shed some light.

Sincerely,

Duncan

Heh... I was beginning to have a feeling Roadrunner was the problem! Now I'm not quite clear what Duncan is saying about reconfiguring my SMTP server (it already is going through my ISP's own SMTP server) so I guess this means I have to open a free webmail account with Yahoo or something, and use that to get in touch with Derann.

Sigh. [Embarrassed]
