Hello Fellow members. Here's my first review of this 1978 classic movie.I'm sure everyone on this forum knows this film inside out,so i will not bore you with talk.Just a couple of points to make..
Firstly this is the extended version of the movie running about 2hrs 30mins long.
Second is the picture quailty.Very impressive;running at around 25-35 mbs.Totally Awesome.
Thirdly extras...Theres audio commentary, trailers, sceentests, and an audio music onlt track. It means you can listen to John Williams belting score with any sound effects etc.
One more final point In my view this is SUPERMAN;not that crappy TV show....Christopher Reeve is and always will be the man of steel.A totally awesome disc that should be in every film fans disc collection;be it R1 or R2.Dont miss it.Andy.

Andy,

Thanks for the DVD review. Although it's been out for awhile, I have yet to see the Richard Donner cut (although I like Richard Lester's film) of Superman II.

Doug,

I've heasrd that it's well worth seeing, just for the chance to see two peoples versions of the same film.

Don't forget guys that Richard Donner had done 70% of Superman2.Andy.

Great stuff Andy Keep em coming. Glad to hear they are putting trailers on board.
Always amazes me when there isn`t one as they are an art in themsleves.
I can`t find one even on the recent king Kong 2 disc dvd set, wonder if its on the BR as a cracking trailer.
Best Mark.
