Sad to hear the news this morning of a stalwart of TV soap opera
"Dallas" has died.Larry first came to my attention in the sitcom
"I Dream of Jeannie" opposite the lovely Barbara Eden, even starring
in the sequel "Beware the Blob",but it's his role of J.R.Ewing that
he will be most remembered for, a part he made his own, a man
the viewers loved to hate. The son of Broadway Star Mary Martin,
he shared the stage with his Mum in the stage version of "South
Pacific" in Drury Lane.He finally lost his battle with throat cancer
at the age of 81.A tragic loss to the industry and condolancies
to his Family and friends.Farewell Larry.R.I.P.

Sad to hear he's gone. Always liked him as 'Major Anthony Nelson' and one I have only ever seen once it was on late night Yorkshire TV after News at Ten 'Here We Go Again' a comedy.

Goodbye Larry.

I wonder if he got to finish that first season of the revamp of "Dallas" before he passed on?

The reports here say they were some way into filming the 2nd year.

Hey! I know this sounds rude, but they could do the whole "Who shot J.R." thing again, except in this case, he remains dead ...

Awww come on, I can't be the only devious person who thought up this!
