If you are interested in seeing 1920s Ernemann2 projectors still in use and a look around at this South Island NZ cinema, have a look at this "Vimeo" video [Smile] ...its really good.

Hi Graham, We, being wife and I, did a tour of New Zealand a few years ago, on one of our S.K.I. holidays,(Spending the Kids Inheritance)! We stopped at Geraldine, lovely little town. We saw the cinema and also visited the town museum. I would have liked to have looked around the cinema but it was not open at the time we visited. We also had an overnight stay in Christchurch. This was before the earthquake of course. Horrified to see your pics. of the destruction it caused. Ken Finch.
