Just been watching Toy Story 3 broadcast by BBC television on Christmas Day. What a very wise financial move was made by Disney by buying out Pixar in 2006.
And, yes; what a great film.

I've always felt that the "Toy Story" franchise, were the greatest use of computer animation. It was literally made for this style, with the "shiny-ness" of CGI animation.

Everything else that is done in computer animation, (feature wise), really doesn't impress me but then, I was spoiled at a young age by hand drawn animation!

The Toy Story trilogy really is great: one of those rare cases of each sequel being maybe even a little better than the one before.

I've seen a lot of theatrical films, but I remember each time I saw these the first time: it was something a little special and I really looked forward to it.

The last one brought the story to a nice conclusion, and it deserves to be left there. Unfortunately there is talk of a TS4. I think this is a step too far and in danger of wearing the story out.

It's done! Let it go! (Do something else!)

Would I go see it?

-probably, especially if the reviews are favorable. Of course that makes me part of the problem...
