Came across this interesting video about "Film Didn't Die With Kodak's Chapter 11." It's about 8 minutes long, a good look at all film being made now and including a nice video of a B&H 16mm projector.

Thanks Jerome. That was most enjoyable to watch. Like vinyl music, the pendulum is starting to swing back to analogue photography and motion pictures. As they mentioned, there will be a balance of those that use digital and those that prefer analogue film.

Hello all, I just joined the 8mm forum, as I would like to get back to using my Bolex H8, and hope to find some information and sources here. Thanks for posting this video. It is encouraging that so many people see a future for film. I know about Lomography and The Impossible Project, now, where to find regular 8mm film?

I've just seen in my TA bulletin that Deluxe Laboratories in Denham (I believe the old Rank Labs) closed last March "because of the move from film to digital". Plans are to turn the grade II art deco buildings into homes, but retain the on-site cinema.
Sad if films are being made on cine film but only available via digital files because the labs aren't there.

If any readers wish to obtain film, may I suggest that you subscribe to International Movie Maker published in the UK quarterly. It's full of interesting things about cine.
