Here are the autumn dates for 9.5 get togethers

September 6th
We will commence with the short St. Gabriel's AGM. This will be followed by a special selection of short films to celebrate 50 years of meetings in these premises. Included will be 'Farewell to the Routemaster' and 'Towards Twenty Twenty Two', both made by Bryan Pearce, plus a DVD compilation by Graham Sinden of past highlights from his records. Also selected material from our archives. The evening will conclude with a featurette made in 1964 (50 years ago) and set in London. A selection of cakes will be provided in the interval.

September 20th
'A Man About the House' (GB 1947), this British Lion production is a mystery drama with Margaret Johnson, Dulcie Gray, Kieron Moore, Felix Aylmer and Guy Middleton as the main players. It was directed by Leslie Arliss and based on the play by John Parry. A short or two will complete the programme. Presented by Malcolm Cutmore and screened by Graham Sinden on 16mm.

October 4th
A full complement of 9.5mm optical sound presented and screened by Grahame Newnham. 'Spooks Run Wild' (US 1941) is the selected feature with the East Side Kids, ably supported by Bela Lugosi, Dave O'Brien, Dorothy Short and Dennis Moore. A comedy from Monogram with a vicous killer, a mysterious dwarf, a spooky mansion and a hearse full of coffins. Supporting titles will include 'Tales of Two Cities' (GB 1951), a 3 reel interest that compares London with Paris and all their varying facets. Narration is by Richard Dimbleby and Stephen Jack.
