I'm looking to buy a Specto dual gauge 9.5/16mm, I asked the seller to send me photo's so I can see if the dual parts are all there.
I particularly wanted to see the gate open to view the pressure plate to make sure the 9.5 part is there, there appears to be some of it chamfered off but it looks uneven unless it's grease , is that how it's supposed to be or is it 16mm claw damage ?

That is definitely not what mine look like...Is the claw bent?

I'm rather confused now because I emailed Martyn Stevens at Cinerdistan and he says that both of his have the same sculpted out part.
I was all set to buy it but now I'm not so sure, have either of you a photo showing the 9.5 plate fixed to the 16mm as per my photo ?

Also, apart from the 9.5 pressure plate, two 16mm spindles & sprockets should there be any other parts for the gate?

Vic
I have sent you a pm but I can't get the hang of posting photos using my iPad so if you reply to my email I can do it that way. Martyn is correct about the chamfer but your picture does not look good.

I'm pleased to say that this projector is in excellent condition, the photo of the gate was misleading & all it needed was to clean off the Vaseline that had been applied to the pressure plate etc when the projector went into storage
