Hi there
This is my first time on this forum... I have inherited my grandfather's baby pathescope from 1929, along with 88 home movies from 1929 - 1939 and the original camera. There are also 8 cinema reels, presumably for loading reels onto so that you can make a little movie night. I don't know if the equipment works, although I have managed to transcribe 8 of the films via Snappy Snaps. They were very impressed with the quality of them, they have survived well for 90 years.

It may be of historic interest. I can't see much footage of Northern Irish life from the 1930s on google. The films basically portray family life and Northern Irish scenes from the thirties. Some of them are too dark, but the framing is generally nicely done. My grandfather was a prominent Northern Irish industrialist and politician, so there may be some interest back in Ulster.

I'm thinking of selling it all. How likely is this to be successful? Where might be the best place to sell it? Ebay with a good reserve, or somewhere else?

All advice gratefully received. Thank you in advance!

You could offer the collection for sale on this Forum under the appropriate heading.
