No its not a film on the history of film collecting, although it could be, Its the story of Scrat the squirrel, who one day was out doing what squirrel's usually do and thats collecting nuts to add to his already large collection in an old tree, his attempt to make one final acorn fit in causes all the nuts to collapse down and shoot out of the bottom of the tree, including Scrat who finds himself free-falling from the edge of the mountain to the ground, he takes advantage of this moment to start collecting his nuts to the music of, "I think" Sleeping Beauty Waltz {Tchaikovsky}, everything is going really well except one thing he has forgotten about up till now and thats the ground which is approaching fast, to late crunch, he finds himself stuck in the ice and while he is trying to free himself one final nut is coming at him at a red hot speed, to late "wham" ,poor Scrat he recovers only to find that the acorns impact is causing the ice to crack, things really begin to happen as we see the world from space and continent's begin to form this leaves Scrat on a very small island on his own, but no he has still has one nut but even this sadly turns to dust leavng only part of it which in turn he puts on his head as a sun hat.
Well, there you have it if you ever wondered how the continents were formed it was down to "Scrat the squirrel".
A Derann 200ft release excellent print and stereo sound a must have film, great repeatability, very highly recomended.
