Yes...it reminded me of the final attack on Death Star, also I can see The Pod Race in some parts as well. I remember one of the "Madagascar" films we ran at the cinema, can't remember which film it was, but there was a scene where Marty is pounding his claw into the sand. Its a direct take of the 1968 film "Planet Of The Apes" without the words Chuck said "dam you all to hell" Although most people wont pick up on some of this stuff, filmmakers often add things like that into there movies. ...its fun picking them out
