I see a company in japan still has odd new super 8 projectors in stock, a Chinon 9000 among them. Amazing that there are still a few new beasties about.
Must try to work out what price they are, be interesting to see.
best Mark.
PS anyone bought from them.

Hi, Mark, what a great website. I tried to do a currency conversion on one of their prices. It was on the GS-1200.
I noticed they posted two prices, one at the top of the ad and one at the bottom. I figure the price at the bottom is a list price 328000 Yen and the price at the top is their price 196000 Yen. With today's currency conversion, that works out to; 196000 Yen = 1685.73 Dollars. Which is, I think about 2528.60 Pounds. Wonder what shipping cost are. Anyone read Japanese?

I think the Sterling value works out to about £1,100. Currently about $1.60 for each pound. Sounds like pretty good value for a 'new' GS-1200.

...Guys the GS-1200 is SOLD OUT, it says so lower right. I was lucky enough to pick up a brand new GS-1200 last year from the USA so they're still out there... be lucky!!

I actually read the section on the Guarantee. These are not new projectors but secondhand. So the bargain is not so much of a bargain after all! But I have to admit that the pictures look good however.
