I seem to remember that we once got a list together of all the dealers of films and equipment that we are aware of, I thought that in case there are some new dealers or new members it might be worth doing it again [Smile] .

So I'll start;

Derann; http://www.derann.co.uk/

Paul Foster; http://www.fosterfilms.co.uk/index.html

Classic Home Cinema; http://valueservices.org/classichomecinema/msie/index.shtml

Tua Film Services; no website but a great monthly booklet and film list...

Tel/Fax 0116 289 0531

17 Kingsway
Leicester
LE3 2JL

Hailsham camera Centre [good stock of cine equipment]; http://www.camcentre.co.uk/

What others are there?

David, thanks for that, it looks as though the Bury Cine Society are quite an active group, they certainly have a good web-site, are you involved with them at all?

Joe, thanks but I can't get that link to work, is it just my pc or is there a glitch in there somewhere?

And what about Unc, been around longer than most, and the only dealer who does not charge for his monthly lists. [Cool]

Notice that so far most are in the UK. What about the US and Germany?

Also, there is a company in Australia that has a VERY LARGE supply of old super 8 digests, still sealed in thier original boxes. Many rare titles that never turn up on used lists. They even have "The Rose! [Wink]

The only problem is that the prices are steep and I'm not sure how the color is by now.

I plan on purchasing one or two titles from them, just out of curiosity. The site is:

Shorty, this'll be it; http://www.philfilm@8mm16mmfilmscollectibles.com/ Geat site, very interesting, seems to have a bit more anecdotal stuff than the average dealers web-site which makes it more readable [Smile] .

Nick, Some very temting stuff on that Australian site, all too tempting in fact but as you say the prices are a little steep [Frown] .

Uncle Ian, when are you going to get your web-site up and running? [Razz] . Looking forward to a boys day out to your large West London cine storage depot shortly, the state-of-the-art climate control system will be just the thing in this hot weather [Roll Eyes] , just trying to come up with a date that the Lightwater four can agree on [Wink] .

Thanks Guys, there are some quality contacts there.

Mike

Great guy to deal with. I purchased "Game of Death", "Fists of Fury" and "Way of the Dragon" from him. Great transactions at a great price.

Hi all,

the right address is:
http://www.mediale-welten.de/world

Unfortunately all titles are in german, but they are linked to the imdb.com search site to find the english titels easier.

I working on a new site "movies-and-sound.com" (sounds internationally than mediale-welten.de). This site will permit to host more megabyte and more traffic is possible. PHP is is also useable. If it is ready I can host the some times ago announced design pic "Mines of Moria" in high definition.

Few links above are not correct.
I found out the right:

Classic Home Cinema
http://valueservices.org/classichomecinema

Cine Alive
http://www.cinealive.freeserve.co.uk
