Does anyone know of a site i can get images of super 8mm boxes. I always try to get OB if not i make them myself like many others. I've exhausted all my movie books for images now.

Tom,
Where do you order your boxes and at which sizes?

Tom,

http://www.angelfire.com/movies/8mmboxes/8mm.html
has scans of horror/sci-fi/disaster film boxes but the scans are of variable size and quality and there are also those annoying "angelfire" pop-ups.
Andreas sells empty original boxes (mostly German) on his site at

Thanks for that, jan i'll get to you on your offer, i usually scan a blank box of 600/400,800 and 1200 foot into my pc so as to get the correct size and then make and design my own using bits of original boxes and still images from movie books etc, i've done 260 out of my 340 collection and am now looking to list what i need. Some of my own boxes are pretty good if i may say so myself [Big Grin]

I wouldn't be surprised if one day, CASTLE FILM boxes are re-popped by some oufit - Seems timely - After collecting, trading for many years, it's a much-sought-after collector item, the box - I've always said that people should save them and seek out NM or better examples, well...Scans are OK, nothing tops the real-item - POLAR LIGHTS recreated the Aurora Kits, boxes are darn near to what it was - Keep reelin' - Shorty
