Hi gang.
I am wondering if you can still purchase Super 8mm film stock to use in an old Super 8mm camera I have.
I am in Australia and have done a few google searches but can't seem to source a supplier.
Is the film still made? and where would it be developed?
Greg

Hi Greg,
Nice to talk to you, and welcome to the Forum. You could try:
www.7dayshop.com
They are a mail order photographic store; I use them regularly and they have plenty of Kodachrome 40 still in stock. I see no reason why they shouldn't supply the Antipodes. They have a few outlets around the world, so you might find one nearer to you than the Channel Islands.
As for processing, it's included in the purchase price, and they come with a return envelope, so just return it to the nearest lab. However, K40 is being phased out and will be replaced by a T64 cartridge, which can be processed by many labs around the world. I send direct to Kodak Switzerland (address on return envelope), so it might pay you to do the same. The cartridges are very light, so I wouldn't think postage should be a problem.
Good luck,
Best,
Dave.
