hi there everyone,my super8mm verison of deranns 1985 release of the above title runs for 103mins.is this the correct running time;the reason im asking is because on dvd it runs for 109mins.i know this title wont be everyones cup of tea;but me living in belfast any film with the name "titanic" in it i will buy.perhaps another member of this forum would have the full feature on super8.many thanks andy.

I went to IMDB to help answer your question - alas, it's listed there with a runtime of 115 minutes (113 minutes for the Canadian release)...

All the scenes with full frontal nudity of the Titanic, and all the profanity-swearing subs.

Perhaps they cut out the scenes with awful writing and poor acting........then they'd have the superb Derann 600' cutdown! A great edit job by Ken Locke!

I didnt know that Ken did those cut downs. Some of them are really great. What others did he do? Did he do the 2 x 600s such as Superman 11 and Gremlins or were they done by Keith W?

Kevin,

Derek Simmonds himself edited "Superman 2", part 1 twice in actual fact, as the labs mucked up part 1, and he had to redo it, so there was some talent there to as well as a fine business brain.
