Please could someone recommend a reliable mail order source in the UK for film cement (i.e. somewhere that won't have had it sitting on the shelf for years!)
My nearest photographic shop (which does a bit of cine on the side) told me it's now unobtainable, but I find this hard to believe. They recommended tape splices instead but I want to use my nice Agfa splicer! (None of my films are polyester.)
Thanks - Jonathan

Hi Johnathan, Try 7dayshop.com. They supply quite a range of cine goods including cement, tape splices, spools and leader.

Many thanks, Kev. Only drawback is they have a £3.99 flat rate postage, which is fine if you have a sizable order but rather a lot for a £1.99 bottle of cement!
I'll still use them if it's the best deal I can get but meanwhile I'd welcome other suggestions from anyone. Thanks.

I thought I saw some in Jessops. Infact I think I saw some in Woking in a camera shop. Next time I am in Woking I will try to remember to look.

Perry's Movies ian@perrys-movies.freeserve.co.uk list film cement at £3.50 per bottle. Postage looks like its £2.00, but better ask.
