I was wondering if anyone can tell me what year the Elmo standard 8mm model E-80 was made? I have just got my hands on one
a real beauty,wasn't sure of the age.

The 8mm E-80 started production in 1951.

It never fails to amaze me that projectors 50 years old are still in good working condition, A few years ago I was given a B/H filmosound that had been well used,after plugging it in it still worked fine, it says alot for the engineering that went into these machines.
