Is there an adaptor to fit the Sankor 16C scope lens to the lens on my Elmo GS-1200? [Confused] I have a scope bracket, but I do not want to drill any holes in the Elmo. [Eek!]

Right now I am using Chip's scope holder design using a Singer 16-D. [Cool]

Wittner in Germany sell a scope bracket system that uses adaptor rings, from 42 to 62 mm barrels.
check it out here .

FFR-Film is selling an "Universalhalterung" (universal holder) that might suit your needs as well.

Dan, I recently bought a scope adapter and adapter ring from Wittner in Germany, as in Jean-Marc's link, and I was very pleased with the quality and service. [Smile]

Thanks everyone. I guess what I need is the adapter ring. I already have a bracket, but do not want to use it. [Smile]

Dan, the Wittner adapter rings are made to to slip into their brackets, to hold what size lense you're using. They don't attach to the projector(lense)alone.

Joe, do you think the Sankor is too heavy to use screwed onto
the Elmo lens?

Dan, Dont screw any scope lens onto the front of the Elmo lenses on the super 8 machines. The weight will be too much for the delicate gate and lens holder.
The Elmo machines only use small screws to fix the lens holder to the machine and with that added weight the whole lens holder assay may move.

Get a proper bracket to fix it to the machine or a stand to hold it.

Thanks Kev. Well, I guess that takes care of the adapter ring idea. [Frown] Not to worry though, Chip's rig is working quite well. [Smile]
