hi everyone,

I was reediting last night my new derran copy of carrie, and suddenly when I was trying my edited film my super 8 chinon sp 350 stopped.

The lamp still turns on but the motor doesnt turn.

during the last few weeks sometimes when I just turned the knob to start projecting the motor whould stop for a sec and then keep running. but last night it finally stopped and won´t run the film, it must be something electronic.

any ideas anyone, does anyone have a electronic layoy for this projector, I would really apreciate any help its my baby and here in chile its very hard to find a proyector and super8mm stuff.

thanks
pablo.

Hi again Pablo
the first thing you have to watch is the belt of the projector,i know this maybe sound simply but is the first thing you have to look,if the belt is ok then take a look on the fuses of the machine because maybe one of them maybe have burnt....if the fuses are ok the last chance is to take a look on the Microswitchs, they tend to broke with the years of use and is a good idea to replace all of them if you have the chance.I hope this can help you...long live to super 8!!! [Wink]
have a great day,Pablo
