This may have been brought up before, but was "Freaks" (Todd Browning Classic, 1932, I think) ever released on super 8?

Yes Osi..I saw it on Ebay about 6 months or more ago. It sold for over $450 I believe. That one I wanted too!
(and Rocky III in Optical..hint hint..)

Famous Films in Florida released "Freaks" on super 8. I read that only 10 prints were struck, and they were made on colour (estar) stock.
