Hi there,

I have been offered Batman & Robin series in Super 8mm, B/W and sound released from Columbia. They are 15 x 400"

My questions are:

1. What sort of stories are they?
2. Any story link between the reels?
3. Is this TV release or cinema release?
4. Good or Bad (worth or not) to be in our library? Please bear in mind the seller asked US$ 50 for all

thanks,

Winbert, buy it quick! That is a steal! It's a 15 chapter serial that was shown in movie theaters in 1949. I collect them. I have 13 of the chapters and am looking the other two chapters.

The stories are connected and done in adventure/sci fi. Each chapter ends in a death defying situation that is resolved in the next chapter(cliff hangers). [Eek!] A lot of fun to watch. [Cool]

If you do not want them, let me know and I will purchase them. [Smile]

Hi Winbert,

How can you hesitate about $ 50,-?
What a steal.
If you don't want them, I will queue up after Dan.

Guys,

They were out there ready for you.

Unfortunatelly, it has ended for US$ 47.89!!!

I could not bid more than that since I have to think about shipping to my country which would be enormous!!

cheers,

Oh man! When someone lists in the wrong category you can really get a bargain. Doesn't it make you sick that someone who knows NOTHING about these films somehow gets there hands on them and sells them on eBay? Someone should tell this guy he could have gotten at least $300, mabe even $500.

Holy bat dung Winbert! [Eek!] That's the 1943 serials. Those boxes look prestine. I quit looking in other categories when eBay changed it's category format a couple of years ago. Maybe I had better rethink this strategy. [Confused]

Now,

I rather be feeling guilty having seen this:

The above 15 Batman VS. Just recently ended 15 Batman
