Question 1) How does the quality of a Telex or Singer 16-D anamorphic lens compare to that of a Kowa 16-D or Kowa 8Z?

Question 2) Is the 16-D appropriate for a ~15ft prjection distance on a GS1200 with a stock Elmo lens? If memory serves the lens is a F1.2.

Question 3) Who makes 2x anamorphic lenses that will fit a 58mm or 67mm camera filter thread?

Thanks in advance...

Regards, John

Hopefully this will work.

I need a scope bracket for my GS1200.

Hi John,

You will find almost every 16mm scope lens was made by either Kowa or Sankor. Telex and many other brands simply re-marketed them with their own name on them. There were many across the world and some were only country specific.

The test of any used or old lens today is: is there any fungus or fogging in the lens? Does it project a correct scope image without any distortions?

I always have scope lenses for sale in my ebay store, Super 8 Centre.

You may find a Bell and Howell, Eiki or Elmo scope bracket will fit your GS1200 with some small modifications.

Good luck.

David
