I could still be wrong, but I only saw the owners manual, the service manual had proven elusive to me untill I found that listing, I havent bought it yet, but I will soon.

Eric, I bought it!

I'll probably be sending a scan to Brad's film-tech webstite along with several other manuals I have.

Hi,

I am sorry I haven't finish scanning this manual yet and it’ll be at least another couple of weeks or so. A couple of weeks ago I had emergency surgery to correct a heart deficiency, I just came home yesterday (Saturday, November 25) with strict doctor’s orders to follow a specific life style for the next few weeks. I will get back on my computer, for other than checking my email, within the next week or so.

Please understand I shall deliver what I have promised as expeditiously as I can.

Best,

Jon

Jon, It would be good if you could put it on the forum here in the manuals section where everyone can download it if they wish.

You just need to send the copy (pdf) to Bard Miller the forum owner.

Kev.

well thaats good but wouldnt an HD have a few different nuances to it? I have on;y owned two 1200hd's and they are the optical versions and when you drop the door in the front down on mine it looks very different than the inside of the standard st 1200. but maybe Im wrong.

We are moving to a new upgraded server this week, so once everything gets moved I will try and remember to add this to the online archive.

If I forget I'm sure Kevin will remind me. [Wink]

The manual on Film-Tech is for the 1200 which is quite significantly differen thatn the D or HD. The D HD are pretty much the same except of course for the sound section. I also bought the manual and it was worth my $30 to have it. I have to have things printed out so I can hold them in my hand. Probably would have cost me a pretty good amount to print out each page then bind it. Plus the manual I bought has exentensive diagrams for every part, circuit, etc. And a complete parts list which already saved my bacon once.
Cheers,

Bumping this old topic as I've lost my ST1200HD repair manual to digital rot! Never printed the whole thing out. I need to adjust the light shade/ interrupter. It wont move completely up during normal projection mode.
Cheers,
