Hello,

Can anyone tell me the maximum screen size which can be obtained from a Sankyo 702 or Sankyo S800 super 8 projector while maintaining a distinct, bright image?

Also, at what maximum distance from the screen could this be achieved without impairing the image?

Hi Den

I think it will to some exent depend on several factors
-What you perceive to be acceptably bright
-How dark the room is
-What speed lens your using

I have the Sankyo 800 and can certainly fill a screen about 9ft or 10ft wide from about 20feet (I think!) and to me it seems fine but others might disagree

Hello,

The room would be quite dark.

Lens is a 1:1.3, f = 15 - 25mm

Hope this helps further. Thanks for replying.
