I'm starting to get an ok film collection. At least ok in my book. There is always some titles to dream about, like Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and Star wars. Some possible others not.

But what films where released that would fall in the category "chick flicks" in its wider, more general definition?

I know Grease would fall in that category, but what should one look out for, and what is possible to get on super 8 that is more general appealing than laser swords and blood and guts?

I'd recommend the Columbia 3x400ft of 'The Exorcist' and the Iver Films 4x400ft of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. The chicks will love 'em!

I actually think I have that "champ" digest. at least I had it for a while, but I may have sold it by now. Darn.

I'd say that musicals like singing in the rain and sound of music and some Elvis movies are perfect.
"Sleepless in S." or something like "When harry met Sally" - (hm - Meg R. again? I wonder why?) would definitely be cool to.

Maybe one could add girl-appealing films to a "wish-list" and if someone were to release these titles, suddenly all wifes, girlfriends, sisters and mothers would start to think this was a very cool hobby.

John. I am sure my Texas Chainsaw is 5X400...Its pink also which is a bonus. Remember spending many happy hours with Barry Wiles Films at Sittingbourne. He's the bloke who go me into collecting features in the 70's and what a nice man he was. very kind to me a young man at that time.

Hold out for Star Wars my friend as you will never tire of it. I only got the feature a year or so ago but it is quite superb. The 400ft Scope issue is also very good as a starter.
