Came across this in the letter section of "Movie Maker" as follows,

"Intrepid Reporter".

There might be an idea for widescreen fans in this story:

A reporter back from Nothern Ireland was relating his experienes to an enthralled audience, and impressing them with his bravery. Giving a blow by blow account of an incident in the Shanklin Road area, he said "There was I in the centre. On the right our troops were spreading out from their armoured car. From the left the masked IRA men were creeping forward. The view I had was like being in a front balcony seat at a cinerama epic, of true widescreen proportions. Of course, I was looking through a letterbox at the time!"

So if you have difficulty in judging framing for your widescreen saga, you can dismantle your letter box {only two nuts to undo} on a Saturday morning, and use it all weekend.

Remember to refix it before 7am Monday morning, or the postman will put your mail in the dustbin.

After reading Osi comments "doddering old men" on another topic I remembered an old.."true story".. so this one is for you, [Wink]

Place...Glasgow....time...long..long...ago, [Smile]

One day an elderly gentleman was trying to park his large old car, just as he was about to reverse into a parking space this young guy in a little mini "small car" nipped into the space, after parking he got out, went up to the elderly gent and said,...."you have to be young and fit to do that...."DAD", the gent said nothing, and as the young guy walked away being quite smug, he turned round to see this big old car being reversed into his mini, the small car was pushed up onto the pavement, the young guy was stunned, [Eek!] the gent quietly went up to him and said,... "you have to be old and rich to do that...."SON".

Hee hee I thought I'd get some response from my "doddering ole men" comment.

Funny story about the car. It never fails to impress me how the youth of our culture somehow think that they are ultimate objects of worship in our society!

I think parents worship thier children far too much, when that worship should obviously go to our projectors! Kids you'll have for 18 years ... a good projector, who knows how long?!
