will the eumig 1.2 Suprogon lens from an 824 fit onto an 802 D? the 802 is a nice little projector. just thought it might look better with a lens upgrade. Mine has the 1.6 common to this projector, I know there is also a 1.3. any info would be helpful.

Just about any Eumig lens will fit any moderately modern other Eumig- or for that matter a lot of other projectors as well. Near the end most were using the same barrel diameter - although you may find that focussing knobs don't always engage.

the suprogon from your 824 will fit any of the 800 series,and is a much better lens than the slower ones. brighter too and a bigger picture for any given throw.
